Cleaning is performed by experienced, screened, reliable CLEANERS/HOUSEKEEPERS who can assist you with many types of cleaning services: Regular Weekly Cleans, Regular Fortnightly Cleans, Occasional One-Off Cleans, At-Call Cleans, Spring Cleans, Move In Cleans, Move Out Cleans, Preparation for Party Cleans

GENERAL CLEANERS/HOUSEKEEPERS: ($29.50 per hour weekdays, $32 per hour Saturdays) who will thoroughly clean your home

GENERAL CLEANING (example)

vacuuming, sweeping/washing floors

ironing, washing

cleaning kitchen, bathroom, toilet, laundry

hanging out washing, folding clothes

dusting, polishing, glass/mirror cleaning etc

and who can also carry out appropriate 'MAINTENANCE CLEANING' for your home, for example,

a typical 'clean plus maintenance clean' might look something like this:

1st week of month    

 all regular chores

 plus wet dusting all skirting boards and window ledges

2nd week of month   

 all regular chores

 plus cleaning inside of fridge, over and microwave

3rd week of month    

 all regular chores

 plus tidying some kitchen/laundry cupboards or food pantry

4th week of month      all regular chores  plus removing and cleaning all contents of kitchen dresser

'MAINTENANCE CLEANING' does not cost any more per hour, it simply means allowing a bit of extra time at each booking i.e. if your list of weekly chores usually takes 3hrs, consider booking for 3.5hrs to allow 30 minutes each week for these maintenance chores to be carried out.

 

YARD CLEAN UP SERVICE: ($29.50 per hour weekdays, $32 per hour Saturdays): THIS CAN BE ADDED ON TO YOUR GENERAL CLEANING BOOKING EACH WEEK!

Raking up leaves, sweeping paths, washing deck areas, cleaning outdoor furniture, brushing down outside cobwebs, weeding, light pruning

($36 per hour weekdays, $40 per hour Saturdays)

who can give your home a thorough 'overhaul' (i.e cleaning out cupboards and drawers, cleaning ovens and reachable windows, spot cleaning of marks on doors and walls, wet dusting window ledges, skirting boards etc - as well as the standard chores

often includes cleaning out cupboards and drawers, cleaning showers,  ovens, skirting boards, window ledges,  cleaning underneath where the fridge and washing machine used to live, spot cleaning of marks of doors, walls etc.

We can even help with the packing or unpacking

 

 

 

PARTY HELP PEOPLE ($30 to $40 per hour, depending on day/evening, weekday/weekend, public holiday etc) . . .

for special occasions  when you just can't possibly take care of it all by yourself (why not join the party instead of working at the party!) 

 

PARTY HELP PEOPLE circulate platters of food, keep dishes, glasses and cutlery washed and ready to be re-used.

 

They ensure the kitchen is kept clean as the party continues so that sinks and benches are kept free for continued food preparation and, at the end of the party, there is minimum cleaning up in the  kitchen

 

 

 

                                                        

 

How do you proceed?

  1. phone our office on 03 9873 5215 and speak to any one of our consultants

  2. let us know what type of clean you require (i.e. general cleaning/housekeeping, spring clean, vacating clean)

  3. tell us how often you want a cleaner to come, i.e. weekly, fortnightly, once-only (If you want weekly, we send you someone who is available at the same time/day every week. If you want fortnightly, we send you someone who goes to another home on the same day/time on the other week that they don't come to you. If once-only, we send you someone who can come only on your one date because they have a temporary cancellation of their usual weekly client, and they return to their usual weekly client on the following week)

  4. let us know if your visit is cleaning only, or if you will require some ironing and/or some yard clean-up too

  5. tell us the arrival time that works best for you, the options are mostly:

                * anytime 9am to 5pm approx (if no-one is home all day and the time therefore doesn't really matter)

                * 1pm/1.30pm (this means your cleaner/housekeeper will arrive between 1pm and 1.30pm)

                * 1.30pm/2pm (this means your cleaner/housekeeper will arrive between 1.30pm and 2pm)

                * 9am/9.30am (this means your cleaner/housekeeper will arrive between 9am and 9.30am)

 

What else do you need to know, or consider, before proceeding?

  1. your cleaner/housekeeper will use YOUR equipment and products (This helps us keep the hourly rate down as low as possible. Also, in our experience, we find most homeowners express a preference to use their own tried and true products, based on proven good performance (and preferred family-friendly odours) for their home surfaces, or prefer to use only environmentally friendly products, etc

  2. the best way to get the 'right' clean for your home is to provide your cleaner/housekeeper with a detailed chore list so that they are clear about how detailed you wish your clean to be (ie do you want the skirting boards and window ledges wet dusted in each room?). *As you write your chore list, this also provides you with the list of equipment and products you will need to provide

  3. cleaners are paid in cash at the time of each visit (every cleaner/housekeeper carries a tax invoice book - just let them know if you'd like a tax invoice left each week, or at the end of each month)

  4. you can avoid payment for any re-scheduled or cancelled booking providing you call our office, before 5pm on the business day before your booking is due, to arrange this

  5. think about how you will arrange access for the cleaner/housekeeper, if you won't be at home to let the cleaner in

Cancellations must be phoned through to our office prior to 5pm on the business day before your booking is due, otherwise your booking must be paid for in full.
We do not provide an email address or an after hours answering machine service on our office phones, due to problems experienced in past years of people emailing or leaving answering machine messages with messages such as "its Susan, please cancel my next clean", when we have numerous bookings with the first name of Susan and we don't know which Susan this message if from. This is why is it necessary for you to communicate with us by telephone, where we can be sure we have the opportunity to obtain all the necessary information and from you. We do provide a full time telephone service Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (excluding public holidays) for your convenience
