Bookings |

Bookings can be made
only by direct communication to the office of A Woman's Touch Domestic
Agency by telephone on 03 9873 5215 (business hours) or by our Online
Booking Form - no bookings can be made directly with the cleaner
attending your home
|
|
Payments |
|
Payment must be made in cash at the time of service being provided. (Due
to the high costs of petrol, public transport, childcare etc, most housekeepers
are now paying these expenses, cash, on a daily basis)
The householder will provide correct money for
the hours they have booked (cleaners may not be able to carry sufficient change
for every home) |
|
Communication |
|
It is the responsibility of people using
this service to communicate their specific requirements to the cleaner -
in order to provide the correct, and best, clean for their home |
|
Receipts/Tax Invoices |
|
You must advise
the
cleaner attending your home (at the time they are attending for the purposes of
your cleaning) of your requirements as to whether you require weekly,
fortnightly or monthly tax invoices to be provided to you |
|
Safety & Risk |
|
A safe work environment must be provided by
the householder engaging the services of the cleaner - this means:
- the householder will provide
unencumbered and unobstructed access to the premises, and throughout
the premises for the purpose of cleaning
- the householder will provide
cleaning equipment and cleaning products that are safe and in good
working order
- the householder will immediately
advise our office and / or the cleaner of any risk or potential risk
to safety
- the householder will move any heavy
objects or furniture that is required to be moved for cleaning
purposes
- the householder will secure, or
remove, any fragile, breakable or valuable items, including
jewellery, cash, antiques, artwork or other valuable or fragile
items prior to commencement of any clean
- the householder will remove or
otherwise restrain any pet(s) on the premises which may prove a risk
to the cleaner's safety

Cancellations and
Cancellation Fees |
|
You must telephone our office to advise of any cancellation to your booking prior to 4pm on the business day before
your booking is due, otherwise the hours you have booked for must be paid, in full.
No fee is charged provided this agency has received your cancellation
information prior to 4pm on the business day before your booking is due.
No cancellation can be made by simply advising your cleaner |

Changes to Bookings
and Fees for Changes |
|
You must telephone our office to advise of any
change (reduction in length of booking,
change of type of service provided, change of
access) to your booking prior to 4pm on the
business day before your booking is due,
otherwise the hours you have booked for must be
paid in full. No fee is charged provided this
agency has received your booking change (reduction
in length of booking, change of type of service
provided, change of access) information
prior to 4pm on the business day before your
booking is due |

Private / Direct
Engagement of Cleaners
|
|
No householder can directly engage a cleaner
introduced by this agency, nor introduce a cleaner introduced by this agency to
be directly engaged by a relative or friend's home - for a period of 12 months
after the conclusion of any service The
householder acknowledges A Woman's Touch Domestic Agency may suffer loss and/or
damages as a result of any breach of this term/condition
Should any householder wish to directly engage a
cleaner introduced by this agency, or cause/introduce a cleaner who has been
introduced by this agency to be directly engaged by a relative or friend's home
- that householder must obtain permission from this Agency and meet the
conditions that are imposed by this Agency |

Complaints |
|
The householder agrees to:
(a) communicate to the cleaner as to the specific cleaning requirements
for that home;
(b) check the work on completion and ask
the cleaner to rectify any problem then and there;
(c) be realistic about how much can be done in
each hour, in case not enough hours have been booked
(d) Immediately or promptly
(within 24hrs) report
any problem to our agency, and allow us reasonable time (one to three
days) to
investigate the issue so that the appropriate decision can be made on how best to resolve it
